Mukesh Chhabra directorial Dil Bechara, starring Sushant Singh Rajput, Sanjana Sanghi, Swastika Mukherjee, Saif Ali Khan, Jaaved Jaaferi, Milind Gunaji and Sahil Vaid, will begin streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar from July 24.

The trailer of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film Dil Bechara will be released today. Set to premiere on Disney Plus Hotstar on July 24, the film, helmed by casting director Mukesh Chhabra, is based on John Green’s 2012 bestseller The Fault In Our Stars. It was slated to release in theaters on May 8, but got delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The film also stars Sanjana Sanghi, Saif Ali Khan and Swastika Mukherjee in pivotal roles.

On June 25, Disney Plus Hotstar announced that Dil Bechara would be released digitally. It also shared that the movie will be available for subscribers as well as non-subscribers of the streaming platform.


Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide at his residence in Mumbai on June 14. His demise has left a deep dent in his family and close friends’ hearts.
